You mean the technical or gameplay differences? From a technical point of view the original Saturn version is superior - sure, the PSX port is alright, but the Saturn version has a much more stable framerate, better looking battle arenas, nice field water effect, superior sound quality, no texture-warping and better looking in-battle special effects (the really did use the superior 2D Saturn capabilities!). The PSX version, on the other hand, features a bit better looking FMV sequences. I played both the original and the PSX port, and didn't see any noticeable (or barely noticeable) gameplay differences (or I just don't remember them;)). I guess you should be good using the PS1 guide for the Saturn version.
